Perhaps what is more revealing in the growing importance of online reviews is that a significant number of people now regularly read over 10 reviews before making a choice on whether to pick a business or forego it. For example the number of people reading 21-30 reviews has seen a dramatic shift in little over a year. People who read even more reviews in the category of 51 plus reviews read has seen an even bigger spike.
